The Foundation is pleased to announce that we are offering 3 scholarship opportunities this year starting with the Fall 2025 semester. There are scholarships available for Texas Task Force members, their high school senior children, and for high school seniors pursuing a career in public safety. Billy Parker Lifetime Achievement Award For Travis L. Maher Presented To His Sons Riley And Maddox

Donation To TX-TF1 Water Team

Earlier today the Texas Task Force Foundation provided a donation of $8,769 to the Texas A&M Task Force 1 Water Team for a purchase of new equipment. The donation will allow the team to purchase 2 new top of the line water rated manikins that will create more realistic real-world simulations during training and a new boat motor diagnostic tool to keep their motors running at top performance. Creation Of Travis L. Maher Relief & Outreach Fund

We are proud to announce the creation of the Travis L. Maher Relief & Outreach Fund, established in the honor of our late Founding Member and Director Travis L. Maher. Travis valiantly battled and ultimately passed away on December 28, 2022 from an aggressive form of cancer directly linked to his job as a firefighter and time spent responding to Ground Zero as a member of Texas A&M Task Force 1 after 9/11.
